Snow Princess Party Pics 2010

As promised I've posted a few photos from Boo's third birthday party. Today is her actual birthday.  Happy Birthday Boo! We are so blessed and honoured that God chose us to be her parents and pray that we can continue to provide her with all she needs for many years to come. Many prayers going out to Boo's birthmother today, too, as I'm sure she's missing her little one this time of year.

I've only included a few photos from the day, mostly to highlight the things that were homemade especially for Boo's party, and several photos of her costume and hair.

Instead of a cake I baked carriage cupcakes. Note to self: purple icing can turn blue if it sits in the sunlight for too long!

I made cookie pops as party favours for the kids to take home. I also brought these to Boo's preschool for her treat for her birthday party there.

We had two crafts that were very simple for the guests to do. The first one was to string a necklace with beads (in the white bowls above). The second craft was to make a simple bracelet by attaching a bell to a pipe cleaner. These might not seem like much, but the kids loved them and at 3-years-old, it took quite a bit of time and concentration to complete both projects.

Juice boxes are a special treat in our house, and one of the requests that Boo made for her party. By simply wrapping the boxes with a bit of foil and purple construction paper, it turned ordinary red boxes into something custom-made for the party!

Boo blowing out her birthday candles. Twice. Because she missed one the first time around.

We were blessed to receive some professional photography for this party as a birthday gift to Boo. These amazing photos were shot by Kelly Ureña of Kelly Ureña Photography.

Happy Birthday again, Boo!
