Our Sweet Leprechaun

Boo was all decked out and ready to delivery her "sweet treats" to her preschool class in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. Yes, I'm a huge "Plastic Paddy," and along with us celebrating in Boo's culture, she celebrates in ours as well.

In the photo above, Boo is actually holding a tray of the crafts that we made for her classmates with our latest family addiction, our Cricut Expression machine. These cute little boxes (pictured below) are just large enough to hold a Hershey's Miniature candy bar. So we're being sweet, but not too sweet. *wink*

Boo is still wearing her flat rope twists with a top-twist ponytail, and fortunately the pillowcase dress that was made for Boo last year still fits her. The cute dress was made by none other than Miss P, who also made Boo's amazingly awesome Hello Kitty jacket and matching birthday shirt. And she's sporting the same bows as last year, made-to-match by our talented sponsor Bow-Issa. (I'm mentioning all this for no other reason that I usually get a ton of emails asking me about from whom I got all this stuff!)

We didn't do anything particularly St. Paddy's Day-themed for hair this year, mostly because I was just super happy with my 2010 four leaf clover and haven't been able to think of anything better. No worries, one of these years I'll come up with something cool again. I just hope by that time Boo's still gonna let me do it!

We shot these photos just as we were heading out the door to school. Boo was talking to her kitty in the photo above because, having left her behind, she was whining at the door. These were all the pics I could get because shortly after this she dropped the tray and went running back to give Elphaba one last kiss. I don't know who's more needy after Elphaba's surgery, the cat or Boo!
